Yes! The launch day for the faSport Services is almost here and we’re working our asses off for the final finishing touches… You know what they say – the last 10% of the work take 90% of the time.
Well it’s not actually entirely true, because here at mi:INTERACTIVE, we try to not think of anything as being completely finished, just done. For now. Until a new awesome idea comes along and we’re once again in the pursuit of making it happen!
So, what are the faSport Services?
They enable anyone from a sporting center manager to a loyal and satisfied customer to promote their favorite sport centers, clubs, places on faSport.ro.
You can, for instance, promote your fitness club on the hundreds of pages of all the other fitness clubs, just to get its name out there as an alternative option. Or you can do the same but for your city – promote your Bucharest based swimming pool on the pages of all the sporting venues that are also in Bucharest… Isn’t that sweet! But wait, there’s more…
You can also promote your sports club when other users are searching for something similar or when they are selecting a sport they want to practice, a city they want to get sport recommendations for, or both, for optimum targeting.
And also, my numero uno, my pick of the flock, my precious – you can get your favorite sports center or place promoted inside the profile pages of the users residing in the same city, or practicing for the same sports discipline. It’s like a major win-win! The club becomes visible to potential customers, in a discrete and completely targeted manner, while the potential customer gets info about new places to exercise in, maybe closer to his or her home or office.
Ok, but how much does this awesomeness cost?
Surprisingly enough, not that much. Just enough that it’s totally worth it, both for us, but especially for them – the sport places – our beloved customers.
Let me just give you one example: would you pay 10 EUR/month so that your awesome fitness sports center gets recommended to all the faSport users practicing fitness? Taking into account the fact that faSport.ro has a customer potential of 1200 native faSport users and rising, plus a couple of thousand sports fanatic Twitter users, also rising, and not to mention the 1.5 million Romanian facebook users (last time I checked) out of which more than 50.000 have declared sport, sports or a specific sport as a direct interest or hobby, I would! Definitely.
Take into account the fact that on average, most Romanian sport centers require only 100 or so members in order to be profitable. Large ones require 300, maybe 500.
What’s more, is that for a limited time only, we’re launching our services at an insane DISCOUNT rate of 40% meaning that you’ll only pay 6 EUR+VAT, for a service that usually costs 10 EUR+VAT. How does that sound?

We’ve made sure that you get to pay in the simplest way possible – by using just your mobile phone. You do have one, don’t you? Services start from 10 6 EUR/month and all you have to do in order to pay this modest amount compared to what you’re getting is to send an SMS… Our website – faSport.ro together with our payment partner’s website – mobilpay.ro will guide you through the whole process, even if it’s a fairly simple one, just so that you don’t get confused or frustrated along the way. Sure, soon we’ll be launching some more complex, and inherently more expensive services and we’ll also offer debit or credit card as payment options, but until then feel free to abuse our mobile payment options… :P We promise we won’t mind.

Details: faSport.ro is the best Romanian website aimed at people actually practicing sports, not just watching them on TV. It’s now got over 1200 users and a catalog of more than 600 places from 70 cities in Romania covering more than 30 sporting disciplines and recreational activities.
You can sign-up or sign in using your existing facebook or twitter accounts and then specify the sports you’re doing or you want to start doing…. That’s it!
All you have to do next is give useful feedback to sports centers or places you frequent, invite your friends or find new sparring partners, organize sporting events with you friends or sparring partners and get fit!
